Refund Policy

Drive Tennessee Forward is a pre-order campaign. Your pre-order is $40: the $35 state plate fee plus a $5 non-refundable processing fee. Tennessee requires 1,000 reservations before the plate goes into production, by the state’s deadline of June 30, 2027.

If the campaign reaches 1,000

Your reservation is applied to your plate. The $35 annual specialty fee is a state fee collected through your vehicle registration.

If the campaign does not reach 1,000

When you reserve, you choose what happens if we fall short: receive a refund of your $35 plate fee (the $5 processing fee is non-refundable), or convert your $35 into a donation to Launch Tennessee. We honor the choice you made at checkout, and we will contact you with the details and timing before any refunds are processed.
